Working as an intern at immediate future
Want a career in social media? Working as an undergraduate intern at immediate future is one of the best ways to get your foot on the ladder, make lots of contacts, and learn new skills.
Length of internship
We’re flexible with this and will fit around you. We have placements which only last a week. And those which last up to a year.
What role will you have?
You’ll spend time training as an account assistant with a view to working with us after you graduate. If you’re on a shorter placement you’ll work on specific client projects.
Your training
We want you to get the most out of your experience with us. So we’ll set out your objectives at the start of your placement and review them regularly.
Your training will be a mixture of on-the-job learning, formalised training, and one-to-one coaching. You’ll learn how to deal with clients; write a news story; speak to influencers; research and plan a campaign; or manage a long-term client project.
You’ll be part of the team. And you’ll get practical social media experience which will look good on your CV.
Interested? You’ll need excellent verbal and written communication skills. And you must be studying for a degree, diploma or recognised qualification in public relations, marketing, media or business studies. Send your CV and a covering letter, by email or mail, outlining your interest and involvement in social media and what you think you can bring to the team.
