Utarget Ventures reaches investor and entrepreneur audiences

As a successful, profitable digital media organisation that survived and thrived during the first dotcom boom, CEO Phil Cooper decided to set up an internet incubator, Utarget Ventures. The new business assists dotcom start ups with financial backing, and online and offline expertise.

Objective: To drive entrepreneurs to take their ideas to Phil Cooper and to interest and excite the media that focuses on venture capital and private equity investors.

Strategy: Releases were sent to all the broadsheet nationals, both online and offline versions, media favourites including Brand Republic and New Media Age, but also specialist publications such as Smart Investor, Small Company Selector, euromoney.com, Investor’s Chronicle, Growth Company Investor and Global Investor.

Results: As well as coverage in target publications Media Finance and New Media Knowledge, immediate future secured pieces in New Media Age (online and print versions), mad.co.uk, e-consultancy and netimperative.
