| ebooks | e-books, ebooks or eBooks are electronic versions of traditional printed books which can be downloaded from the internet and read on your PC or hand held device. e-books take up less space and use less trees. And you never forget which page you’re on. |
| Social networking site Facebook was started by Harvard college student Mark Zuckerberg in 2004. Originally for US students only, now anyone can join. You go to University, you move town, you grow up – and still the geeky annoying kid from 4B tracks you down. | |
| Fake Blog | When a marketing bod pretends to be a 12-year-old computer nerd and leaves made-up reviews of his own products all over the blogosphere - it’s known as a fake blog or flog. Like fake hair, fake nails and fake tans - fake blogs are cheap and nasty. It’s not a good look. |

| Fisk | To savage a post, line by line, in a highly critical but often witty and sarcastic way is known as Fisking or to Fisk. The term is named after journalist Robert Fisk, an early recipient of Fisking. We should be thankful he wasn’t called Robertson-Smythe. |
