Don’t know your podcasting from your vodcasting? Confused as to the meaning of search engine optimisation? And what exactly is a blog? Or blogging? Or the blogosphere? Here for the first time, in our fabulous Online PR and Social Media Glossary (phew), are our slightly tongue-in-cheek definitions for all the latest buzzwords doing the rounds. (And writing them kept the immediate future team amused for at least a whole afternoon!) Any definitions you want to add? Email us at info@immediatefuture.co.uk | |

| Mobile SEO | Mobile SEO is organising your website so all the information on it can still be read and understood if viewed on a mobile phone screen. So include all the important information at the top of the page, keep the titles short, and the content shorter. GD 2CU WE R A G8 CMPNY. |
| Moblog | A moblog is a blog that is published by a moblogger straight to a website using a mobile phone or PDA. Most moblogs contain photos that have been taken using a camera phone; handy if you’re at the scene of a major event or if you just want to embarrass your mates. |
| MSM | MSM stands for mainstream media, for example, TV, radio channels and large newspapers. Not to be confused with SMS which is text messaging. Or M&S which is the UK’s favourite high street store. Or S&M which is something else entirely. |
